The forecast for Courtney and Ashton’s October wedding day was cloudy with a chance of rain, but wouldn’t you know it, just as the events of the day were about to begin, the clouds cleared and the sun peaked through.
Their wedding was set on the bride’s family farm, a beautiful home on a piece of land that had been theirs for over 100 years. Family and friends gathered from coast to coast, including New York City, where the bride and groom now reside.
Courtney wore an all lace gown with the most beautiful open back detail, and a family heirloom bracelet in remembrance of her grandmother. Ashton wore a classic black tux with a silk stripe pant and bowtie.
Their ceremony was short and sweet, as if to state just how ready they were to be married and start the rest of their lives as husband and wife. A casual cocktail hour was followed by an elegantly planned meal, and toasts were made by both the bride and groom’s fathers. The reception was laid back, and absolutely full of laughter and joy. To cap the evening, a grand display of fireworks lit the night sky.
Congratulations to Courtney and Ashton, may your lives be as loving and gracious as you both are!
