The shoot I had been dreaming about.
For months, I sat with an idea in my head of doing a styled shoot that encompassed all of my favorite things. A representation of my brand and who I am. From the color palette, to the gowns, to the smallest details, I had planned something that brought me joy and allowed me to creatively play out the images I had been envisioning.
Dusty blues played with the pops of apricot and soft yellow. The arched doorways, large windows, and textured walls gave the feel of old world Europe. Delicate butterfly details danced across the garden-inspired stationery suite. Warm flowers surrounded by lush greenery climbed the architecture, while the airy textiles of the gowns whispered in romance.
Blueberries played their role, as they have my whole life, and so did the dogs. I knew I needed to shed light on an animal in rescue, for fundamentally, that is where my heart is. Duma was a sweet, bright boy who has since found his forever home. He was joy… pure, freedom, joy.
This styled shoot was months of dreaming and planning. With the help of the following vendors, who pour themselves into their craft, it exceeded my expectations. I couldn’t have done it without them.
