Carrie and Peter’s wedding took place on what turned out to be a beautiful Spring day. After days of rain, the clouds moved away, letting the sun peak through. They got ready separately, but both within the walls of the home they share, a personal touch that always warms my heart. Portraits were taken around their beautiful back yard, emerald greens set the backdrop for the bridal bouquet, made by Carrie’s mother, to really pop.

They were married at the Stanley Event Space in Lees Summit, Missouri, followed by their reception. Carrie and Peter are the kind of couple that if I could, I would photograph their wedding every weekend. They are both such genuine, loving people, and I am so happy they found each other.
